Is there a wait time?

This will depend on the month and what services you're looking to access. Please head to our booking page to book an initial chat or initial consultation. 

What age groups do you work with?

We work with all age groups, however, when exploring  CBiT,  children would ideally be over the age of 8, but do feel free to enquire if they are younger as some younger children can access our services.

What therapy is available for tics?

Can you diagnose what type of tic disorder I/my child has?

Unfortunately, we cannot diagnose here at Tictock Therapy, however, we can provide a report post-service to aid in you seeking a diagnosis in the future with our professional opinion interlinked.

How do we start therapy/coaching?

Before starting therapy or coaching, you will need to book a meet and greet session and then an initial consultation to assess the suitability for therapy, which you can book via our bookings page.

Do you provide services through video calls?

Yes, All services, including coaching and therapy is delivered through video call using zoom.

You can also find workshops and training as pre-recorded videos here.

How can I fund treatment?

There are a variety of ways you can fund treatment with us, such as self - funding, asking your GP for an individual funding request, asking your school to use EHCP funding, you can also use access to work grants, or ask your social worker for funding.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies case by case but as a rough guide, CBiT is around 8-12 sessions. Neurodiversity coaching is around 12-16 sessions and Solution Focused Therapy is around 6-8 sessions.

Can I split payments up?

Yes! You can pay across 3 instalments when engaging in our 12 - week programmes. Book a session here.
