General Tic Therapy and Coaching Terms and Conditions

I will be used to describe the therapist you will be working with from Tictock Therapy.

You will be used to describe you as the service user.

 

As the therapist,

 

1.   I agree to be available at the arranged time,

2.   I agree to start on time and go no longer than the stated time frame,

3.   I agree to stop when needed within the time frame and will not push a client to keep going unnecessarily.

4.   I agree to offer a quite appropriate and undisturbed space via zoom or in person,

5.   I agree to maintain safe, professional boundaries,

6.   I agree to regard all contact and information as confidential unless I have reasonable doubt concerning actual safety of the client or others,

7.   I agree to encourage client autonomy,

8.   I agree to work within the BABCP Ethical Framework (available upon request) including regular supervision,  

9.   I agree to review therapeutic work and relationship regularly,

10.    I agree in the unlikely event of the therapist cancelling, an alternative appointment offered ASAP.

 

 

As the service user, 

 

1.   You agree to be available at the agreed time and understand if you do not make contact and do not sign in within 10 minutes of the agreed start time, that the appointment will be cancelled, and full costs will apply.

2.   You agree to give a minimum of 2 days’ notice when cancelling/changing an appointment (less then 2 days = loss of half the fee, 1 day or less = loss of full fee.)

3.   You understand when pausing therapy services, leaving you in credit, you have 6 months in which to either reinstate therapy OR request a refund. If 6 months passes and no contact is made to either reinstate therapy OR request a refund that you will lose this option and no refunds will be given.

4.   You agree to keep communication with the therapist outside agreed counselling sessions to be limited to making, changing, or cancelling an appointment unless by prior arrangement.

5.   You agree to give permission to contact GP if the therapist has serious concerns about risk to self (client) or others.

6.   You agree to discuss with the therapist when you feel you are ready to end therapy,

7.   You agree to let the therapist, know if you are in or are considering entering another therapeutic relationship/ starting, changing, or stopping medication,

8.   You agree to ensure all invoices are paid in full and no later than three days before your scheduled appointment.

9.   You agree that you understand you will be required to use the tools given in order to make a change.

10.    You agree that when attending sessions that there are session expectations:

-You will need a quiet/ undisturbed space

- You will need good wifi

- No virtual backgrounds

- No mobile phones where possible

- Not in your bedroom if you're under 18

- You will not eat during sessions

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy Terms and Conditions

As the therapist,

​

1.      I agree to be available at the arranged time

2.        I agree to start on time and go no longer than the stated time frame

3.       I agree to stop when needed within the time frame and will not push a client to keep going unnecessarily.

4.      I agree to offer a quite appropriate and undisturbed space via zoom or in person

5.       I agree to maintain safe, professional boundaries

6.       I agree to regard all contact and information as confidential unless I have reasonable doubt concerning actual safety of the client or others

7.        I agree to encourage client autonomy

8.          As a practitioner of solution focused hypnotherapy, I agree to abide by the code and principles contained in the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy’s (AfSFH) Code of Conduct & Ethics policy.[1]

9.       I agree to review therapeutic work and relationship regularly

10.    I agree in the unlikely event of cancelling, an alternative appointment will be offered as soon as possible.

As the service user,

4.       You understand that if your therapist believes you to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other substances, your therapist will be unable to continue with the session and the full fee will be payable (if charged)

5.        You agree to keep communication with the therapist outside agreed counselling sessions to be limited to making, changing, or cancelling an appointment unless by prior arrangement, and to be done via email.

6.        You agree to follow the instructions laid out from the therapist; this is following the 3 P’s. Positive actions, positive interactions, and positive thoughts, also starting, keeping and maintaining a positive dairy. This dairy is kept every day and will be a list of three positive things that have made you happy or smile during the day. You agree to completing the actions from your miracle question.  You also agree to listening to the provided audio daily as instructed. I understand that not doing this as instructed will prolong the Solution Focused approach. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy does not take away the requirement of medical advice if needed.

7.       You agree to give permission to contact GP if the therapist has serious concerns about risk to self (client) or others.

8.       You agree to discuss with the therapist when you feel you are ready to end therapy, if you miss 2 sessions in a row without adequate communication, I will presume that the therapy has ended.

9.       You agree to let the therapist, know if you are in or are considering entering another therapeutic relationship/ starting, changing, or stopping medication,

10.    You agree that you understand you will be required to use the tools given in order to make a change. If you do not complete the set tasks between sessions, you are less likely to see any results.

11.    You agree that when attending sessions that there are session expectations:

-You will need a quiet/ undisturbed space

- You will need good wifi

- No virtual backgrounds

- No mobile phones where possible

- Not in your bedroom if you're under 18

- You will not eat during sessions
