TicTock Parent Support Hub

Ongoing support. Expert guidance. A community that gets it.

Parenting a child with tics, Tourette’s or neurodivergence can bring a lot of questions.

Is this a tic?
Should I be doing something about it?
Why are they fine at school but falling apart at home?
Is this anxiety, ADHD, autism, PDA, OCD… or something else?
Does anyone else’s child do this?

Sometimes you don’t need another appointment.

You just need somewhere you can ask a question, learn a little more about what might be going on and talk to other parents who understand.

That’s why we created the TicTock Parent Support Hub.

What is the Parent Support Hub?

The Parent Support Hub is our private, members-only community for parents and carers of children with tics, Tourette’s and associated neurodivergence.

It’s a relaxed and supportive space where you can ask questions, share experiences and access ongoing support between appointments — or join even if your child isn’t currently receiving therapy with TicTock.

There’s no course to complete and no pressure to keep up.

Dip in when you need us, join the conversations that are relevant to your family and make use of the support when you need it.

❤️ Parent-to-parent support

Sometimes the most reassuring response is simply hearing, “Yes. Mine does that too.”

Our Hub gives parents a safe space to share both the difficult days and the wins with families who understand.

What do we talk about?

The Hub isn't just about reducing tics.

We look at the whole child and the whole family.

Topics include:

• Tics and Tourette’s
• Understanding different types of tics
• Waxing and waning
• Premonitory urges
• Tic suppression
• CBIT and tic management
• Anxiety
• OCD and Tourettic OCD
• ADHD
• Autism
• PDA
• Emotional regulation
• Masking
• The after-school crash
• School support and reasonable adjustments
• Sensory needs
• Confidence and self-esteem
• Family life
• And all the strange little questions that don't always warrant booking an appointment!

Each month we'll also explore particular topics in more detail through discussions, videos, resources and our live Q&A.

You don't need to do this alone

Whether your child's tics have just started, they have a diagnosis of Tourette’s, you're trying to navigate school, or you're dealing with the complicated overlap between tics and neurodivergence, the Hub gives you somewhere to come back to.

You don't have to have all the answers.

And you don't have to wait until things become difficult enough to need an appointment before asking for support.

TicTock Therapy is run personally by me, Sarah. Most of my day is spent in therapy sessions, clinical assessments, or home educating my children.

Because of this, I’m often unable to answer phone calls. The quickest and most reliable way to reach me is by email, which I check regularly between sessions.

Please email info@tictocktherapy.co.uk and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

'Educate yourself enough to feel Empowered, so you can Advocate for you/ your child.'

Here at Tictock Therapy, we take pride in being a disability-friendly organisation. We are constantly learning and adjusting our services. We work with a range of professionals and want to be inclusive to everybody. If you or your child feels that our website or any of our services doesn’t meet your accessibility needs, please do not hesitate to let one of the team know and we will happily make a Reasonable Adjustment where possible!
